Days 61-70
Day 61
Today wasn't bad, it was cloudy so there wasn't as dynamic of lighting as there has been the past couple days, but it's still not bad. Nothing I'm too impressed with, but good enough. I think I need to start experimenting more in BW and figure out what works best here that can't really be done as well in colour photos

Day 62

I had a bit more interesting photos, but still nothing too crazy out there, but I feel like I get black and a white a fair bit more. Tomorrow I'm going to try to get some more out there stuff but going with a low shutter speed to get some more motion blurred results
Day 63
The combination of black & white and slow shutter needs some very specific scenarios to make it work well, and it's pretty difficult to find the situations where it works. When it does, it looks cool, but it's so precise of where it works, cause if it's not the perfect situation, it looks much worse than either of those on their own. I don't think I'm going to be doing this one as a full lesson, but if there's situations where it works, then I'll take it.

Day 64

Definitely overall happier with the results from today. I still enjoy shooting black and white, but I think I'm going to go back to shooting with colour after tomorrow. I'll probably mix it up again with B&W every now and again, but I'm missing having some pops of colour in everything. After tomorrow I'll have done it for a week, which is a decent enough starting point.
Day 65
Very happy with the photos taken today, I think they all turned out really well. I even managed to get some with weird angles and slow shutter speeds. I'm going to be going back to colour tomorrow, but I feel like I very much improved my B&W photography within a week.

Day 66

2/3 of the way done the whole thing! It feels a little weird to get back to colour, I found myself still looking at for shots that would work in black and white. This was just a day to get back into colour shooting, tomorrow I'll be practicing getting interesting colour contrasts again.
Day 67
It was raining out, so I went out with the point and shoot for the first time in a while, and I feel like there's a pretty big difference in the types of photos it takes. I think tomorrow I'm going to try and focus only on textures again to get some real close up shots.

Day 68

I'm pretty happy with how all of these turned out, I think I'm gonna be doing this method for a bit. It pretty consistently gets cool results, especially when there's good lighting highlighting the subject.
Day 69
Today ended up pretty good with the detail shots, I'm pretty happy how they're turning out so far. This camera and lens are really good at getting a particular detailed aesthetic I like. I think after tomorrow, I'm going to be trying some new stuff though.

Day 70

I think today turned out pretty well with a variety of different shots. I'm pretty confident in my ability to take single, good looking shots so I'm going to really switch up the mindset to try and be a bit more interesting. Instead of just whatever shots look good, I'm going to try and have all the shots in a single day tell a story or an emotional journey of some sort. So it's not just each shot is it's own single thing, all of them should thread together. It's very different than what I've been doing, so we'll see how it goes. I still have 30 days to get the hang of it.
